God should be ashamed

And he is. Jesus wept when he thought of what was going to happen to Jerusalem, because the people had lost their way. But  he did something about it.

God made a perfect world and we've messed it up. The more we try to fix it, the worse it gets. Because we try to do it on our own.

We're plagued by sicknesses that are man-made: drug addiction, AIDS, mad-cow disease. Even the drought in Africa is caused by what we're doing on the other side of the world. The crime rate is soaring, because greed is the principle we live by. We believe that happiness comes with material possessions, but they only make life more complicated.

Most of us don't even know how to program our videos.

There is a way out, and Jesus showed it to us. God came to earth in human form, and showed us how a real human being should live. But when we wouldn't pay attention, he sacrificed himself, so that all might live.

We drove nails into his hands and hung him on a cross to choke to death, and he never stopped loving us. And he rose again, to show us how we can all have a fresh start. Make it today.
