Everybody lives for ever, worse luck
What happens after you die? Do you just go out, like a light?
It wouldn't be so bad. You live your life, do the best you can, and then it's over. End of story.
Some people think that. But what if they're wrong?
There's another scenario. We've been invited to the most incredible party, one which never ends, with no morning after, better than the best we ever knew, here on earth.
Everyone's invited. But if we don't want to come, that's OK. No one's forced to attend. We've all got a choice.
The thing is, the party goes on for ever. If we accept the invitation, we can party on, for eternity.
But the reverse is true. If we choose to stand outside the door, that's where we stay. For ever.
We've all had a bit of that eternal party in our lives. That's the good stuff. And we've all felt what it's like to stand outside the door, a little bit of what the Bible calls hell.
Is that what we want to do for eternity? Or do we want to join the people having good times? The choice is ours.
