You seem to be an intelligent man
but there's something here I don't understand.
I know you've been wounded, but so have I
and so has everyone else under the sky.
We're the walking wounded, doing our best,
and sometimes we stagger and fail the test.
Of course we get angry, of course we get mad
but adding pain upon pain is kinda sad,
especially when we turn on the ones who're friends,
that's when the time for friendship ends.
We ought to be helping each other when we fall.
Kicking the fallen's no help at all.
So when we're angry, let's count to ten,
and stop putting the boot in again and again.
Don't take this the wrong way, cos can't you see,
the person who needs this advice is me.
