Christians are sick

Churches are like hospitals for the soul, so it's not surprising that they're full of sick people.

The real difference is that these are people who KNOW they're sick. And they're doing something about it.

They know sick people need a doctor, and they try to do what the doctor tells them. The doctor is Jesus, and there are no prescription charges for his treatment.

All you've got to do is be willing to try it out.

What is this treatment? Well, if you want to know, then you've already started, because it begins with a willingness to get better. And you can't get better until you admit you're sick.

You've got to trust the doctor. Don't start making up your own treatment, because this doctor knows best.

Next, you've got to do as you're told. When you collect your pills from the chemist, you've got to read the instructions, and take them when it says. God's instructions are in the book he gave us, the Bible, and the prescription says we should read it every day. That's the medicine he's prescribed for your soul.

And keep taking the medicine. Every illness has its ups and downs. There'll be fevers, crises. But the treatment always works. In The End.
