Are you ready for the end of the world?

Some people thought the end of the universe was coming when the Shoemaker-Levy9 comet crashed into Jupiter. It didn't happen. But one day, it will.

Scientists say everything is cooling down, the earth will fall into the sun, everything will return to chaos.

The Bible says the same thing. The big difference is that it won't really be the end, because all God's people will celebrate for the rest of eternity, which means for ever.

Most people don't like to think about the end, because they think it's depressing. But it needn't be, if you've got something to look forward to.

And anyway, refusing to think about something doesn't mean that it won't happen. You need to get ready, because although it may not happen for millions of years, like the scientists say, they could be wrong. The next time a comet hits a planet, it could be planet earth.

And if you're not ready, you could be left out of the party that lasts for ever.
