God is a natural high

There is a fault in reality. Do not adjust your brains.

We keep trying to do it. Every time the pain of life is too much to bear we try to escape. With alcohol. With nicotine. With drugs. With sex. With work. With money. All sorts of crazy stuff.

All it does is make things worse.

We're right in a way. Things need changing. WE need changing. But putting chemicals into our bodies isn't the way to do it. Screwing around just screws us up more.

Even that shiny new car doesn't make us happy, especially when some prat smashes into it on the way home from the pub.

Because even if we don't do drugs, drink ourselves stupid, or smoke ourselves to death, we're all addicted.

We're addicted to sin, which means going our way instead of the way we were meant to live. Clean and sober. And happy. Living God's way.
