Miracles don't happen

They are made to happen.

Two thousand years ago, Jesus healed the sick, made the lame walk, gave eyesight to the blind. He even raised the dead.

But he also said that those who came after him would do even greater things.

So why doesn't it happen today?

Well, it does. Some churches practise healing, and it works. People get better. Most of all, people who the world condemned,  criminals, drug addicts, the emotionally broken and lost, are beginning to live again.

We don't hear about these things because  good news is no news. If someone's possessed by the devil, that makes front-page headlines, but when they're possessed by the Holy Spirit, the spirit that gives healing, it's treated like a big secret.

Also, too many churches are afraid to do what they are told.

Healing is a gift for all Christians. You don't have to be a special person, an ordained priest, someone drawing thousands to a big arena. You can do it in your own home.

Because you're not doing it. God is.

It's very simple. All you have to do is ask. And a miracle will happen. If you're really serious about it. Why not try it?
